Meet Our Staff

Dr. T. L. Leggette is the Founder and Senior Pastor of His Grace Anew Church, a faith community he and his wife, Pastor Marlies Leggette, founded in 2017. Together, they established His Grace Anew with a shared vision of restoration, discipleship, and extending God’s grace to those seeking renewal and purpose.

Dr. Leggette is a pastor, theologian, and community leader whose life and ministry reflect the power of redemption, restoration, and faithful service. He received training in Campus Ministry and earned both a Doctor of Theology (ThD) and a PhD in Christian Counseling.

Having overcome significant personal and systemic challenges, Dr. Leggette brings lived experience that informs his compassionate, justice-minded approach to ministry.

Through His Grace Anew Church and his broader community work, Dr. Leggette emphasizes reconciliation, accountability, and empowering individuals to live transformed lives rooted in Christ. He is known for listening first, leading with integrity, and honoring the dignity of every person.

He is currently focused on expanding safe and stable housing options for senior citizens, while also advancing reentry housing initiatives for justice-involved individuals. In both efforts, he remains committed to ensuring that people have their basic needs met, including access to housing, food, healthcare, and supportive services that promote dignity, stability, and long-term well-being.
