What We Believe

Keeping Church Simple.
Obedience.

At His Grace Anew Church, our beliefs are rooted in the Holy Scriptures and centered on the transforming grace of Jesus Christ.

The following statements reflect the core doctrines that guide our faith, teaching, and ministry.

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is God’s revelation to humanity and the infallible guide for faith and conduct. Scripture is superior to conscience and human reasoning, yet it is never contrary to reason.
(2 Timothy 3:15–17; 1 Peter 1:23–25; Hebrews 4:12)

The One True God

We believe in one true God who has revealed Himself as eternally self-existent and self-revealed — the great “I AM.” God exists in perfect relationship as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons, yet one God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10–11; Matthew 28:19)

Humanity, the Fall, Redemption

We believe humanity was created good and upright in the image and likeness of God. Through voluntary disobedience, humanity fell into sin. The only hope for redemption is found in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
(Genesis 1:26–31; Genesis 3:17; Romans 5:12–21)

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace made available to all people. Salvation comes through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit, we are justified by grace and become heirs of God with the hope of eternal life.
(Titus 2:11; Titus 3:5–7; Romans 10:13–15; Luke 24:47)

Evidence of Salvation

We believe the inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit within the believer. The outward evidence of salvation is a life marked by holiness and obedience to God.
(Romans 8:16; 1 Thessalonians 4:7; 2 Timothy 1:9)

Marriage

We believe marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between one man and one woman, joining them together as one.
(Genesis 2:22, 24; Matthew 19:5–6)

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe all spiritual gifts described in Scripture are active and available to the Church today. These gifts are to be exercised in love and in accordance with the order and guidance prescribed in the Bible.

Resurrection and Eternal Life

We believe that Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His crucifixion. We also believe in the resurrection of all people:

*Those who are saved will be raised to eternal life.

*Those who are lost will be raised to eternal separation from God.

(Luke 24:16, 36, 39; John 2:19–21; John 20:26–28; Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:42–44; Philippians 1:21–23; 3:21)
